Description Aktiv Equine FlyTek Ultra Deet Repellent is a wipe and spray on repellent for protection against midges (Culicoides), mosquitoes, biting flies and flies on horses. FlyTek Ultra contains no Citronella oil or Permethrin. The active ingredient is DEET (Diethyl Toluamide) combined with Eucalyptus oil, Tag ete oil, D-Limonene and Alpha Terpineol. DEET is especially effective in the protection against midges and mosquitoes, providing added protection for your horse during the summer months. Horses may be ridden or worked immediately following application. Although application of FlyTek Ultra Repellent will aid in the prevention of the transmission of insect borne viral diseases such as African Horse Sickness, it is imperative to follow the correct vaccination program and other control measures.
